Last night I had the worst dream. I dreamt that Christopher and I broke up before were engaged. I had lost my best friend. And in the dream I was trying to get my dad to help me figure out how to feel better. I called Christopher on the phone and tried to find out if he missed me. He told me to move on and breaking up was the right decision. Needless to say, I woke up totally heart sick. But my hunny was there in my room, getting dressed for work. he quietly leaned over and kissed me goodbye.
After I got the girls off to school, I called him and told him my dream. He laughed. He always does when I dream weird things. He promised me he was not going to break up with me!
So I am now going to tell you the top 10 reasons I love my man:
1. He is my best friend in the whole world. I have never been more comfortable or felt so safe with any one in my entire life. And I felt that from the first time we met.
2. He is the best dad in the world. I know every wife feels that way, but mine is the best. And I do not give him the credit he deserves on a daily basis. From the moment Rylie was born, he has been right in there taking the lead. Diaper changes, getting them bathed, dressed, put to bed, letting the girls paint his nails. Many a traffic ticket was handed to a speeder by a Trooper with pink fingernails. He babysits, plays, reads stories, he takes the girls on rides, he does anything his girls ask him to.
3. He puts up with me. I am a crazy woman and he takes it all in stride. He lets me be crazy and tires to step back when my OCD takes over. He would love to do laundry and the dishes, but he knows I have my order to things and lets me go.
4. He lets me call him all sorts of pet names: Topher, Tiffily Piff, Tuffy, Christopher Robyn, Tuffer. He lets his girls call him 'Fuzzy Cheeks' (facial hair(:).
5. He works hard for his family. He works long hours and spends time out of town to bring home the bacon.
6. He cuddles when ever I need it.
7. He never gets mad when I say "Not tonight, maybe tomorrow." Then when tomorrow comes and I say it again.
8. He has a strong testimony and knowledge of our Savior. Sometimes we miss Church and get complacent in our duties, but he has a testimony of our Savior that inspires me. I can ask him any question and he knows the answer or how to find it.
9. He puts up with my family, mainly my sister. I know we get a little loud and crazy when we are all together, but he has never been quite around them. And I know he appreciates all they do for us.
